Are you currently working at an insurer / MGA / broking house with in-house underwriting facility for Terrorism? This is an unusual opportunity to join this Lloyd's syndicate in the terrorism division, overseeing all of the underwriting which is carried out via various facilities across MGA's and broking houses throughout the UK.
This role offers both the opportunity to underwrite and manage the delegated facilities as well as developing new business opportunities across the London and regional market.
A good understanding of delegated underwriting is required - you could be at an Assistant Underwriter but with underwriting authority, or an Account Handler / Executive at a brokers with a pen authority. Sound understanding of wordings and coverages and ability to handle a volumatic/transactional portfolio.
This role is part of a wider global terrorism portfolio and whilst there will be exposure to this Lloyd's platform, the majority of responsibility is across the UK book.
