An innovative and rapidly growing insurance business is seeking a Conduct Risk Analyst to support the continued enhancement of its conduct risk, consumer duty and complaints frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance compliance professional looking to broaden their exposure across conduct risk, complaints management and underwriting compliance within a dynamic and technology-enabled environment.
The Role
Working closely with underwriting, claims, risk and compliance teams, you will play a key role in ensuring customer outcomes, product governance and regulatory compliance remain at the forefront of business activity.
- Supporting the completion and review of Conduct Risk Assessments and Fair Value Assessments.
- Reviewing and challenging product governance submissions and contributing to Product Oversight activities.
- Producing, analysing and maintaining Conduct Risk and Consumer Duty management information, reporting and dashboards.
- Assisting with conduct risk reporting for senior management, governance committees and boards.
- Providing practical conduct risk guidance to underwriting teams, particularly regarding new products and higher-risk business activities.
- Supporting the development and delivery of conduct risk training initiatives.
- Handling and overseeing complaints, including liaison with third-party partners and claims administrators.
- Managing complaint escalations and regulatory referrals where required.
- Maintaining complaints registers, monitoring trends and undertaking root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Supporting broader underwriting compliance activities and providing regulatory guidance across the business.
About You
You will bring a strong understanding of insurance compliance, conduct risk and complaint handling, coupled with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Required experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an insurance compliance, conduct risk or complaints-focused role.
- Strong experience managing and investigating complaints from receipt through to resolution.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Experience operating within regulated insurance environments.
Highly desirable:
- London Market / Lloyds insurance experience.
- Exposure to Delegated Authority business.
- Experience using Lloyds complaint management systems.
