A growing multi site group is looking to appoint a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, controls and performance across the group and its subsidiaries whilst reporting into the company director.

You will ensure high quality financial reporting while providing meaningful commercial insight to support decision making.

The role offers exposure to business improvement projects and future growth initiatives as the group continues to scale through aquisition, making it an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Financial Controller looking to broaden their remit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts across the group.
  • Prepare consolidated management reporting and financial analysis for the Directors.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes.
  • Partner with finance teams across the subsidiaries to ensure consistent reporting standards and month-end deadlines are achieved.
  • Provide commercial analysis and performance reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor financial controls, identify risks and recommend improvements to processes and reporting.
  • Prepare board reporting, financial commentary and KPI analysis.
  • Support the year-end audit process and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders on business improvement projects, systems enhancements and process efficiencies.
  • Provide financial support for strategic projects and future growth initiatives as the group continues to expand.

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Strong management reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to interpret financial information and influence business decisions.
  • Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders and non-finance managers.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between group locations as required.
