Personal Lines Team Leader
Are you an experienced Personal Lines leader looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely influence team performance, customer outcomes and business success?
We're partnering with a well-established and growing insurance business that is looking to appoint an experienced
Personal Lines Team Leader to oversee a large team of Personal Lines professionals across two UK locations.
This is an excellent opportunity to joinan organisation where you'll play a pivotal role in driving service excellence, operational performance and employee development, whilst working closely with senior leadership on key strategic initiatives.
The role is to work from Sheffield but with some travel to the South Coast, operating on a hybrid basis with two days per week in the office.
As the team is spread across both locations, regular travel between offices will be required, with travel expenses covered.
You'll be responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 Personal Lines professionals, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes, strong retention performance, regulatory compliance and a highly engaged team culture.
You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support business transformation projects and build strong relationships with insurer and internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience within Personal Lines insurance
- Previous people leadership experience as a Team Leader, Manager or Senior Supervisor
- Strong understanding of Personal Lines products and customer journeys
- Experience managing operational performance and service delivery
- Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate teams
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to balance customer outcomes with commercial objectives
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel between Sheffield andthe south coast as required
Desirable Experience
- CII qualifications or actively working towards them
- Experience within High Net Worth or Private Clients insurance
- Experience leading change, transformation or continuous improvement initiatives
- Established insurer market relationships
- Strong mentoring and talent development experience
