As a Development Underwriter, you will play a key role in delivering the Regional Business Plan by underwriting complex and high value Property and Casualty risks across both new and existing business. The role requires confidence in decision making and the ability to balance underwriting discipline with market opportunity.
You will build and maintain strong, long term relationships with brokers and customers across the region, positioning yourself as a trusted and credible underwriting partner. Through targeted prospecting and effective pipeline development, you will identify and convert new business opportunities, supporting brokers with tailored, risk based solutions that help win and retain profitable accounts. You will also represent the organisation's values, brand and underwriting standards across the market.

You will bring excellent technical knowledge, including exposure to non standard or complex risks, as well as the confidence to operate at senior broker level. Strong organisational skills and a strategic mindset are essential.
In return, the role offers a competitive salary, car allowance and benefits package, alongside the opportunity to join a values driven organisation where underwriting integrity, collaboration and market presence are genuinely valued.
