Role: Take ownership of underwriting decisions across a range of Professional Indemnity risks.

Review and assess referrals, providing technical guidance on more complex cases.

Support profitable growth through sound underwriting judgement and commercial decision-making.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across underwriting, trading and leadership teams.

Monitor business performance and contribute ideas to support sustainable portfolio growth.

Help identify opportunities to improve underwriting processes, customer experience and trading performance.

Utilise underwriting insight, market knowledge and data to support business objectives.

Requirements: Strong Professional Indemnity underwriting experience gained within an insurer or MGA environment.

Experience handling referral business and more complex underwriting decisions.

Good understanding of portfolio performance, underwriting controls and risk management.

Commercially minded with the ability to balance growth and profitability objectives.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

A collaborative approach with the desire to contribute beyond day-to-day underwriting responsibilities.
