Job Description
Global Insurer have an opening for a property underwriter to join this division – specialist property background, ideally US, but international will also be of interest.
They have large, blue chip clients, household global names in the portfolio, as well as some mid-market offerings, experience across both of these areas will be considered.
Busy portfolio, aggressively growing, wide appetite across different industries including heavy industry.
The client are keen for you to gain significant client exposure, lots of travel, attending conference events. Advanced analytical/reporting skills essential, this role is evolving quickly and requires someone who enjoys working at pace, a good ability to develop broker relationships is also essential. The role really offers the best of every part of underwriting, could suit someone up and coming in their career, ideally who already has full underwriting authority in their role.
All open market business, consideration given to both company and Lloyd's market previous background.
