Personal Lines Underwriter - Household Travel Manchester Area / Remote - Future Hybrid Working An exciting opportunity has become available for a Personal Lines Underwriter to join a growing and ambitious MGA.
This position would suit either an ambitious underwriter looking to take the next step in their career or an experienced underwriter seeking a fresh challenge within a dynamic and expanding business.
Working as part of a successful underwriting team, you'll focus primarily on underwriting non-standard household risks, including unusual property types, high-value homes and more complex cases.
The role also offers exposure to specialist travel insurance underwriting, providing a varied and interesting opportunity to broaden your technical expertise across multiple product lines.
The Role Underwrite a portfolio of non-standard household and specialist home insurance risks.
Assess new business and renewal cases, considering factors such as construction type, occupancy, location, claims history and security features.
Deliver sound underwriting decisions in line with underwriting authority, business appetite and regulatory requirements.
