Fantastic opportunity for a Personal Tax Assistant to join a prominent, well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Newcastle.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with clients to ensure accurate and timely submission of personal and partnership tax returns.
- Playing a key role in preparing for the upcoming Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax Self-Assessment (ITSA) changes, helping clients transition smoothly to digital record-keeping and quarterly reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy firm or similar.
- Willingness to learn and progress.
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
- Experience of Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience of Xero is preferable (but not essential).
