Multinational Underwriting Account Manager

IPS Group is working on behalf of a leading Global Insurer to recruit a skilled professional with extensive multinational experience for a high-profile role within their Global Underwriting team based in Surrey. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has extensive multinational insurance experience who thrives in a dynamic global environment, and has a strong background in complex account and programme management.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of international accounts, ensuring the seamless delivery of insurance programmes across multiple jurisdictions. Acting as the main point of contact for global partners, clients, and internal stakeholders, they will coordinate coverage, address issues, and align services with client needs. A strong focus will be placed on building lasting relationships and consistently delivering high-quality programme execution.

This role goes beyond traditional underwriting. It requires an individual who can oversee the full lifecycle of global insurance programmes. The position involves working closely with clients and brokers to understand complex risk structures, manage renewals, support reverse flow business, and ensure compliance with diverse regulatory environments. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and a customer-first mindset are essential.

While underwriting experience is advantageous, applications are also welcomed from candidates with global broking backgrounds who bring expertise in multinational account servicing and programme coordination. Individuals who have managed large international clients, worked alongside underwriting teams, and have a deep understanding of cross-border insurance arrangements will be a great fit for this role.

The position offers a hybrid working model with three days per week in the office and two days working from home. Some travel will be required to maintain strong relationships across the international network.
