Working as part of an established audit and accounts team, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, delivering high quality audit and accountancy services while building long term client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant seeking a broad role with genuine progression prospects in a respected firm.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and completing statutory audits for a varied portfolio of clients. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with current accounting standards. Supporting managers and partners with client assignments and advisory work. Building and maintaining strong relationships with owner-managed businesses and SME clients. Supervising, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members. Assisting with the planning and delivery of audit engagements from start to completion. Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide practical commercial advice. Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed timescales. Candidate Profile

ACA or ACCA qualified. Several years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice. Strong audit experience alongside accounts preparation. Experience managing client relationships and working across a varied portfolio. Good technical knowledge of UK accounting and audit standards. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Package & Working Pattern
