Our client is looking for an organised, proactive Ledger Supervisor to manage a small team and oversee key finance operations.
Youll combine people leadership with hands-on financial management, ensuring strong controls, excellent service and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities of
Ledger
Supervisor:
Lead, coach and develop two Finance Administrators.
Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, payments, expenses and invoice approvals.
Manage reconciliations, supplier statements, reporting and month-end activities.
Support strong financial controls and accurate, timely reporting.
Drive improvements across finance systems and processes.
Provide excellent service to colleagues, customers and suppliers.
What were looking for
Experience across purchase, sales and general ledger accounting.
Experience supporting or developing others.
Strong Excel and finance systems experience.
Excellent organisation, communication and customer service skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to prioritise, work independently and meet deadlines.
AAT, ACCA or CIMA studies are desirable, but not essential.
