An outstanding and exclusive opportunity in the Birmingham insurance market for an Account Handler to take a significant step forward in their career. This role offers a chance to expand skills into Life Science and become a proficient Life Science Account Handler within a specialist brokerage located in the heart of Birmingham.
In this exciting role, you will have the rare opportunity to manage Life Science risks, including Professional Indemnity, Product Liability, Medical Malpractice, Clinical Trials, Business Insurance, Employers & Public Liability. You will be involved in overseeing risks at all stages up to renewal, dealing with new business, and maintaining relationships with clients you have built rapport with over their insurance period. Additionally, there will be opportunities to visit clients, develop strong and lasting relationships, and attend events and conferences.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious with experience from a traditional brokerage, whether in personal lines, mid-high net worth, or commercial. A real positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to take on responsibility will be key factors, as the successful candidate will assume some managerial responsibilities as the role develops. The plan is for you to take on that responsibility when the current Director retires.
This is a fantastic opportunity, one that is not often seen in the Midlands Insurance market, providing a great chance to step up and develop your career within commercial insurance. Life Science experience is not required, as you will be trained in that area.
