Are you an experienced Construction / Liability Underwriter seeking a move? Our client is a supportive and growing MGA where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact and further develop your underwriting career. We are seeking someone to underwrite a high volume of business, with premiums ranging from circa £3,000 up to £100,000. You'll be responsible for assessing risks, determining policy terms and pricing, and building strong relationships with brokers and insurer partners.

We're looking to attract someone with:

  • Minimum 3 years underwriting experience within construction/liability business
  • Strong technical underwriting knowledge and understanding of policy wordings
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage a busy workload
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Cert CII qualification (minimum requirement)

Experience handling high-risk or hard-to-place business and existing broker relationships would be advantageous, but are not essential.
