Our client is a growing and ambitious business operating within the environmental services sector. With continued expansion and investment across its operations, the organisation is seeking a Finance & Reporting Analyst to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, supporting both financial reporting and commercial decision-making across the wider business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial and operational data, supporting reporting processes, and providing meaningful analysis to stakeholders across the organisation. The position offers broad exposure to both finance and operational activities, making it well suited to an individual who enjoys working with data, reporting and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial and operational reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Support month-end reporting processes and assist with the preparation of management information.
  • Maintain, develop and enhance management reporting packs.
  • Produce and analyse Power BI dashboards and performance reports.
  • Conduct pricing, margin and rebate analysis to support commercial decision-making.
  • Monitor data integrity and identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy.
  • Prepare commercial and operational reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and business reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with finance and non-finance teams to provide insight and support business performance.
Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience within a finance, reporting, commercial analyst or similar analytical role.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail with proven reconciliation experience.
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confident working with stakeholders across different areas of the business.
  • Experience using Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to Dynamics 365, Xero or similar systems would be beneficial.
