Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their accounts team. This is a fast paced role, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions across multiple entities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong reconciliation skills, and the ability to manage daily, monthly, and ad-hoc finance tasks while complying with accounting policies and VAT regulations. The position involves regular liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Process multiple daily payment runs ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in line with agreed payment terms, including monthly statement reconciliations
- Complete month-end finance activities such as income reconciliations, intercompany invoicing, and processing internal costs
- Maintain and reconcile cash flow
- Ensure VAT compliance for multiple companies
