An established and growing independent insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Client Executive to join its specialist Care & Social Welfare team. This is a genuinely attractive opportunity for an insurance professional who wants to inherit a quality book of business while continuing to develop within a high-growth, niche sector.
You will take ownership of an existing portfolio of Care clients generating approximately £190K income, providing expert advice, maintaining strong relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow the book further. Working as part of a collaborative and well-regarded team, you will be supported by experienced colleagues across broking, claims, and marketing, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent client outcomes and driving revenue.
You will be responsible for managing and developing an existing portfolio of Care & Social Welfare clients, providing high-quality, independent insurance advice tailored to their needs. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and insurers, negotiating to secure comprehensive and competitive cover, and identifying opportunities for growth across new and existing accounts. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience, while also monitoring and reporting on performance against agreed targets and objectives.
About You
- Proven experience within commercial insurance
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Confident negotiator with a commercial mindset
- Able to manage and grow a portfolio of business
- Motivated to develop specialist knowledge within the Care sector
- Experience using Acturis (desirable)
- CII qualifications (advantageous but not essential)
What's on Offer
