Are you interested in joining a growing firm of Chartered Accountants? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mixed Tax Senior to join a large firm of Chartered Accountants, at their office based in Darlington.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of more complex income, P11D and corporation tax returns from a variety of systems including CCH, Iris and Taxshield
- Review work and aid development of junior members of the team
- Research tax planning issues
- Support tax partners and directors in more complex cases around residency, R&D, and capital gains tax
- Undertake remuneration planning and liaise with the client as appropriate
- Undertake basic planning work, liaising with the client as appropriate with support from tax partners and directors
- Undertake initial reviews of draft tax computations produced by audit and accounts colleagues
- Act as a point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries
Qualifications
- Fully ATT qualified or part CTA qualified
- Relevant tax experience having worked as a Mixed Tax Senior or similar in an accountancy firm
- Have excellent communication skills and be confident speaking to clients face to face, over the telephone and by email
- Must have excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Excel
- Proven experience of delivering excellent client service
