An established and growing creative business with a turnover of approximately £56 million and a team of around 80 employees is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support its directors and strengthen the finance function. This is a newly created role due to continued growth which has created the need for a dedicated finance professional capable of providing greater commercial insight, robust reporting and improved financial processes. The Role
Reporting directly to the directors, the Finance Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while delivering timely and meaningful management information to support strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Delivering accurate and timely financial information to the directors
- Managing cash flow, budgeting and forecasting
- Overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial control
- Reviewing and improving systems and processes to enhance efficiency and reporting capability
- Liaising with external accountants and advisers where required
- Supporting the business with commercial analysis and financial insight
The Person
The successful candidate will be an experienced accountant with a strong background in industry-based roles and a broad understanding of all aspects of finance. They will be comfortable operating in a hands-on capacity while also helping to develop systems and reporting processes that support a growing business. Candidates should possess:
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role within industry
- Strong knowledge across all areas of accounting and financial management
