An established manufacturing group is seeking a Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing accountant to work closely with operational and finance teams across multiple locations, playing a key role in enhancing financial controls, operational performance, and reporting quality.

This is a broad, hands-on position ideal for a manufacturing accountant with strong experience in costing, inventory management, budgeting, and financial controls. As part of the leadership team, you’ll collaborate regularly with operational managers and act as a strategic finance partner.

  • Oversee accounting processes, internal reporting, and month-end accuracy, working closely with group finance and supply chain teams.
  • Act as finance partner to the operational managers and teams, monitoring risks and providing clear financial analysis.
  • Maintain accurate costing and inventory data, overseeing inventory controls and cycle counts.
  • Support capital planning, fixed asset management, and UK transactional finance activities.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles and prepare internal financial and operational statements.
  • Review job orders, monthly results, variances, and trends, highlighting insights and recommending practical actions.
