A growing 45m turnover manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to oversee a small accounts team and produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, whilst also assisting with various project work. You will work under an FD and CFO.The position could suit a qualified management accountant looking for a step up or experienced finance manager. Whats on offer Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 25 days holiday + bank holidays Life insurance policy 1.30pm Friday finish Key Responsibilities Lead the production of monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis Manage rolling forecasts and cost centre reviews in partnership with operational and commercial teams Oversee all aspects of transactional finance, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial controls are robust Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns in full compliance with HMRC regulations Provide margin and project costing analysis to drive commercial insight Support the year-end audit process, including preparation of schedules and liaison with external auditors Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to support senior leadership decisions Collaborate with IT to enhance reporting systems and streamline finance processes Mentor and develop junior finance staff, creating a high-performing, well-supported team Ideal Candidate Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environment preferred IPS Finance has 45 years experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
