Head of Risk & Controls - Insurance London | Hybrid An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Risk & Controls professional to join a growing insurance business in a newly created position. This is a highly visible role focused on strengthening the organisation's controls environment, overseeing assurance activity and working closely with senior stakeholders to embed effective risk management across the business. Duties Lead the Risk & Controls framework. Oversee Internal Audit relationships. Coordinate assurance programmes and monitor the effectiveness of controls. Support Board and Committee reporting. Work with senior leadership to embed a proactive controls culture. Build strong relationships across the business to challenge constructively and drive accountability. Experience required Senior experience within Risk & Controls within Insurance. A strong understanding of governance, risk management and control frameworks. The confidence and gravitas to influence senior stakeholders and Executive-level audiences. Experience managing assurance programmes, audit oversight or control remediation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex issues into practical solutions.
