Chief Underwriting Officer

Opportunity to join a UK wide Motor Insurer. The opporutnity is open to a candidate based anywhere in the UK, the requirement to be onsite is only a couple of times a month (more if it’s your preference). You will join the management division of this business, providing expertise and key insight to the commercial motor underwriting specialty.This is a completely new role and offers someone a fantastic opportunity to really make a significant contribution to developing and growing this business of the future.

This insurance group are keen to speak to strong pricing specialists who understand aggregator systems, reinsurance programmes, management and facilitation of relationships with outsourced service providers and regulatory bodies. You should have a proven strategic underwriting management background, with strong business planning and risk management understanding and having had complete oversight of the management of the P&L of a motor book of business.

Working closely with the board and governance, underwriting and pricing committees your market expertise will facilitate the shaping and development of the wider business, contributing to the continued and enhanced success of an already award winning motor insurer platform.
