IPS is partnering with a well-established and recognised insurer to recruit an Underwriter for their Delegated Liability & Property team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of delegated schemes, covering a mix of Property Owners, Commercial Combined and more niche programmes across SME and mid-market business.
You will be assessing referrals from a range of partners, making clear underwriting decisions within your authority and supporting both new business and renewals. With around 60-70 cases per month, the workload is busy and varied. Some risks can be more complex, so you will need confidence in your judgement and the ability to prioritise effectively. This is also a strong opportunity for someone ready to step up and develop further, working closely with the Team Lead and wider regional teams.

Salary & Working Pattern: Up to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits. Hybrid working 3 days in the office (core days Monday & Tuesday).
