An exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic portfolio of SME and mid-market risks across the Marine Insurance industry. IPS Group is partnering with a respected insurer to find a talented Cargo & Freight Underwriter for their Manchester office, primarily focused on renewals, with some exposure to new business.
You will handle premiums ranging from £2.5k to £100k, balancing high-volume cases with more complex, high-value risks. In this role, you will build strong relationships with intermediaries and customers, ensuring their needs align with the company’s objectives. Your expertise will be vital in identifying opportunities and supporting the wider team, sharing your knowledge with junior colleagues and helping to foster a culture of continuous development.
