Duties of Legal Cashier:
- Manage bank reconciliations, receipts, payments, and client/office account transactions
- Process cheques, CHAPS, credit card payments, petty cash, and staff expenses
- Post bills, disbursements, transfers, and purchase ledger invoices accurately
- Maintain compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and confidentiality standards
- Respond to internal and external finance enquiries, supporting fee earners as needed
- Produce financial reports and spreadsheets
- Provide general administrative support and participate in training and appraisals
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 3 years experience in a similar role
- Recent working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Ability to work within a team
- Experience of case management system, Partner, would be useful
- Knowledge of excel and internet banking systems
