IPS Group is working with a fast-growing InsurTech that is continuing to expand its UK claims operation. Due to ongoing growth, they're looking to appoint a Motor Claims Intervention Handler to join their newly established claims team in Manchester.
The Role You'll be responsible for contacting non-fault third parties immediately following a motor incident, offering repair solutions, replacement vehicles and other support services before involvement from credit hire companies or solicitors. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll review newly reported claims, assess liability and negotiate directly with third parties to deliver positive customer outcomes whilst helping to reduce overall claims costs. You'll work closely with repairers, engineers and suppliers, ensuring claims are managed efficiently and customers receive the right support from the outset.
About You You'll have previous experience within Motor Claims, ideally within FNOL, Third Party Claims, Intervention or Credit Hire. You'll be confident speaking with customers over the phone, building rapport quickly and influencing positive outcomes.
You'll also have: A good understanding of motor liability and claims handling principles Knowledge of credit hire and cost mitigation Strong communication and negotiation skills The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment A proactive and customer-focused approach What's in it for You?
