A well-established and forward looking firm of Chartered Accountants based in Wetherby is seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a client-facing role, managing their own portfolio while playing a key part in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts department. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to ensure a high standard of client service and departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and assisting in their development.
- Supporting the Accounts Manager in the operational management of the accounts department.
- Ensuring the smooth delivery of services including year-end accounts, VAT, and management reporting.
