Solicitor – Defendant Personal Injury

Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Casualty Solicitor or Associate Solicitor to join a dynamic law firm in Leeds. You’ll handle a varied caseload, focusing on Employers Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) disputes across sectors such as social care, equine, and construction. Candidate Profile/Experience Needed:

• 2-6 years PQE in personal injury litigation, with experience in EL/PL and professional liability claims
• Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
• Ability to manage a mixed caseload, including fast, intermediate, and multi-track cases
• Experience in clinical negligence, Animals Act 1971, and policy coverage (ideal but not essential)
• Proficient in using case management systems (e.g., Partner for Windows) and Microsoft Office 2010
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• A strong team player with the ability to work under supervision
