Solicitor – Civil Claims Against Public Bodies

Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor (NQ to 5 years PQE) to join an expanding team specialising in civil claims against public bodies. Based in Liverpool , this role will involve managing a caseload of civil litigation matters, including unlawful arrest, false imprisonment, human rights breaches, and other public body accountability issues. You will handle multi-track work and civil jury trials in a dynamic, target-driven environment.
Candidate Profile/Experience Needed:

• At least 3 years’ experience handling Part 7 litigation work
• Strong background in litigation with a focus on civil claims
• Experience running cases through to trial, including working with Counsel
• Excellent knowledge of the CPR and pre-action disclosure procedures
• Ability to manage a multi-track caseload
• Experience with case management systems (e.g., Proclaim) and high IT competency
• Exceptional client care and communication skills

What’s On Offer:

• Salary: Up to £45,000
• Standard working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5:30pm; Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
