Our client is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Administratorto support key financial processes, including contributions collection and benefits payments. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a desire to develop within a collaborative and supportive environment.
As a Finance Administrator, you’ll play an essential role in the smooth day-to-day running of financial operations.
Duties of Financial Administrator
- Managing the day-to-day contributions collection process, including monitoring clearance accounts to ensure timely investigation and resolution of outstanding items.
- Accurately setting up ad hoc payments and account transfers in the banking system for approval.
- Providing reporting and resolving queries related to receipts for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Controlling benefit payments, ensuring all allocations are accurate at both the scheme and individual levels.
- Producing cash management data to identify shortfalls and initiating disinvestment requests when necessary.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, scheme accounts, and related finance tasks.
- Supporting month-end processes, including preparing accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Contributing to wider team activities and finance-related projects as needed.
Essential:
- Experience in processing financial transactions and general ledger accounting.
- Background in bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations and transactional accounting
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to spot and resolve discrepancies.
