IPS Group is working with a growing InsurTech business that is continuing to invest heavily in its claims operation. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Junior Bodily Injury Handler to join their Manchester team.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a caseload of lower value motor bodily injury claims, handling cases through the Official Injury Claim (OIC) Portal from instruction through to settlement. You’ll liaise with claimants, solicitors and third parties, review evidence, investigate liability and support the delivery of fair and efficient claim outcomes. You’ll work closely with experienced bodily injury professionals, gaining exposure to a range of injury claims while continuing to develop your technical knowledge and understanding of the claims process.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their bodily injury experience within a supportive and growing team environment.
About You
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have previous motor claims or bodily injury claims experience and are looking to join a business with ambitious growth plans.
What you will ideally have
- - Previous experience within motor claims, ideally with some exposure to bodily injury claims
- - Strong communication and negotiation skills
- - Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- - The ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
- - A proactive and organised approach to claims handling
- - A desire to further develop your technical knowledge within bodily injury claims
Experience using the Official Injury Claim (OIC) Portal would be advantageous but is not essential.
What’s in it for You?
Alongside a salary of up to £33,000 and a 10% discretionary bonus, you’ll be joining a growing InsurTech business that is continuing to invest heavily in its claims function. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your technical bodily injury knowledge, gain exposure to a varied caseload and build a long-term career within a business that can offer genuine progression opportunities as the team continues to expand. Following probation and training, there is also the opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.
