IPS is partnering with a Global Insurer to build a new Claims team in Leeds supporting its London office. The Leeds team will oversee day‑to‑day claims activity and manage high‑volume, lower‑value claims within the London market.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Claims Adjusters, providing day‑to‑day support, guidance, and oversight.
- Ensure service standards and performance metrics are met.
- Oversee a portfolio of claims and provide support to London Adjusters as needed, covering a broad range of matters including RTAs, marine cargo incidents, renewables, PI, BI, and wider international losses.
- Support cross‑training of Adjusters across various claim types.
- Maintain strong technical oversight of claims handling.
Qualifications
- Experienced Senior Adjuster with a proven record in claims handling.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or potential to step into a leadership role.
- Experience with reporting, KPI management, turnaround times, caseload monitoring, and peer reviews.
- Ability to balance hands‑on claims expertise with team leadership and oversight.
- Background in insurer or broker environments is welcomed.
