Our well-established broker, part of a wider group, is looking to appoint a desk-based SME Insurance Account Executive to join its growing broking arm. This role will focus on advising and placing commercial insurance risks for a broad SME client base, working within a professional, compliant, and sales-driven environment.
You’ll be dealing with a varied book of SME clients including tradesmen, hotels, retail, and hospitality businesses, providing tailored insurance solutions and building long-term client relationships. If you enjoy selling, developing business, and delivering high-quality advice within a regulated environment, this is a strong opportunity to grow your career with a respected brokerage.
The role will involve managing and developing a portfolio of SME commercial clients, providing advice across core commercial insurance products and proactively prospecting, quoting, and converting new business opportunities. You will identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing client base, negotiate terms with insurers to achieve competitive outcomes, and ensure all activity is carried out in line with FCA and compliance standards, while consistently delivering a professional, consultative sales experience.
