IPS Group is supporting a well‑established and growing MGA that is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Officer for a newly created role. This position has arisen due to the continued growth of the business and the increasing need to maintain high standards across underwriting operations.
The role will sit within the risk and compliance function, reporting directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance and working closely alongside the existing Compliance and Audit Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out quality assurance audits on underwriting files, managing around 90 audits per month.
- Provide meaningful feedback to underwriters.
- Identify trends, support training, and help root‑cause issues so the business can continue to improve.
- Support the leadership team and play a key part in maintaining and enhancing underwriting standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in quality assurance within a general insurance setting (Broker, Insurer or MGA).
- Detail‑oriented, confident in communicating with underwriters, and comfortable delivering training and feedback.
Work Arrangement: Two days a week in the office; the remaining time spent working remotely.
