A dynamic and fast-moving MGA with a strong market presence is seeking a Broker Development Manager to join its expanding team focusing on the Northern regional Broker market.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop broker relationships, driving business performance across both virtual channels (phone and video) and face to face interactions with Brokers.
You will work closely with the Head of Sales & Distribution and the underwriting team to help manage and develop the company’s growth strategy.
You’ll be responsible for a panel of partner brokers, creating joint business plans, supporting marketing and training initiatives, and ensuring all partners are positioned for success.
You’ll play a key role in strengthening broker engagement identifying growth opportunities, supporting strategic campaigns, and contributing valuable market insights to enhance overall performance.
To be considered you must have a commercial insurance sales background from a broking, insurer or an MGA.
You will be driven and self motivated with a strong sales track record and a natural ability to build and develop relationships.
This is a role where you will need to be able to develop relationships without the security of working for a large Insurer name where a relationship is already established.
This role can be fully home based and flexible with travel across the North.
You can be based anywhere above the Midlands. A salary between £50,000 and £70,000 is available depending on experience and existing broker relationships.
