IPS is working with a Global Insurer that is building a new London Market Claims team in Leeds to support its established London operation. The Leeds team will oversee day-to-day claims activity and support the handling of high-volume, lower-value claims, operating as an extension of the London Market claims function.
The successful candidate will join the Professional & Financial Risks (PFR) team, which handles a broad range of Professional Indemnity claims. The wider division also looks after Financial Institutions PI, Cyber, Media & Entertainment risks within the Professional & Management Risks market.
The role will involve supporting the claims handling process, maintaining accurate records, reviewing files, processing documentation and assisting with claims administration across a varied portfolio of London Market business. There will also be exposure to excess layer business and working with key market systems.
The Leeds team works closely with colleagues in London and will receive ongoing support and training to develop an understanding of London Market processes and claims operations.
Transferable backgrounds are welcomed, particularly from insurance, claims, broking or other insurance-related administrative environments. Candidates will initially spend time in London meeting the wider team and gaining exposure to London Market processes, with ad hoc visits thereafter.
