IPS Finance is looking to speak with experienced Finance Managers regarding an upcoming requirement with an established business in the Bingley / Keighley area.
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
This will be a hands on position with responsibility for the day-to-day finance function, working closely with the senior management team. The role will combine ownership of management reporting and financial controls with commercial input across areas including costs, margins, stock and working capital.
Responsibilities
Produce monthly management accounts, including profit and loss and balance sheet reporting
Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and variance analysis
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and oversee accruals and prepayments
Manage cash flow and support day-to-day treasury requirements
Oversee transactional finance, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, payments and credit control
Maintain the fixed asset register and provide CAPEX reporting and analysis
Complete VAT returns and support payroll and other routine financial submissions
Support the year-end accounts process and liaise with external auditors
Work with operational and senior management teams to improve financial understanding, reporting, controls and finance processesCandidate Profile
Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or senior management accounting position
Experience within a product based or operational business would be particularly relevant
Strong management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow experience
Comfortable combining hands on accounting responsibilities with commercial analysis
Able to work effectively with both finance and non finance colleagues
Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidates will be consideredSalary: £48,000 – £55,000, dependent on experience
