My client based in Hull are recruiting for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their growing and adaptable firm on a Part Time basis. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail with an enthusiastic approach. Duties of Part Time Legal Cashier: Allocate bank receipts and manage CHAPS, BACS, and Faster Payments Process financial transactions and perform daily bank reconciliations Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations for accounts and control balances Generate and analyse client balance and disbursement reports, resolving discrepancies Handle employee expenses, cheque processing, and daily banking of cash/cheques Manage purchase invoices, ensuring approval and timely payment Archive files, process Legal Aid funds, and handle court statements Report and record breaches of SRA Accounts Rules Address client interest on held funds as per regulations Support company mission and values in all tasks Benefits: Bonus scheme 25 days holiday entitlement, plus buy and sell scheme aswell as birthday allowance Hybrid and flexible working options Supportive, approachable and friendly working environment Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Range of benefits, including pension, health cash plan, discounted gym membership and more
