Initially this role will be recruited for on a maternity cover contract with the potential for it to be made permanent. The hours and days can be flexible around the individual with around 20 to 25 hours required. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join the team. Reporting to the Company Accountant and General Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall finance function. Key Responsibilities: • Purchase Ledger: Invoice processing, VAT application, supplier reconciliations, and credit card statement postings. • Sales Ledger: Customer account management, credit control, and month-end reporting. • General Duties: Assist with month-end accounts, purchasing, staff leave tracking, and petty cash control. Requirements: • Proficiency in Sage, with working knowledge of Xero as a benefit. • Organized, reliable, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.
