Based within a centralised accounts function in Leeds, this role sits at the heart of the finance team, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to strict deadlines. You will work closely with operational management across several sites, providing financial insight, ensuring compliance with group policies and supporting performance improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Producing accurate monthly management accounts and regular financial reports for Head Office and senior management
- Advising operations managers on financial performance, margins, costs and overheads
- Monitoring departmental results against budget and forecast, highlighting variances and trends
- Overseeing cash flow, borrowings and liquidity, with regular briefings to senior operational leaders
- Managing and optimising the cash operating cycle across debtors, creditors and stock
- Producing and analysing key performance indicators across all departments
