Based between York and Harrogate, this is an excellent opportunity to join a people-focused business in a newly created management accountant role to support the Head of Finance. This is a hybrid working role with two days WFH, focusing on supporting monthly management accounts and system improvement work.
With an excellent reputation locally, this could be an excellent progression role for a part qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience accountant. The role will include:
- Supporting the head of finance on monthly management accounts.
- Supporting on departmental budgets and forecasts.
- Accruals, prepayments and reconciling balance sheet.
- Business partnering across the functions within the organisation.
- VAT returns.
- Assistance with year-end audit process.
- Using Sage 50 and developing reporting using Excel / Power BI.
