Finance Manager in Leeds

A growing financial services business based in Leeds City Centre is seeking a Finance Manager to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented finance professional to take ownership of core reporting processes while managing a small team and working closely with an experienced Financial Director.

This is a hybrid role with up to two days WFH. An immediate start is on offer. The salary range is £50,000 – £55,000

The Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support the business, alongside overseeing day-to-day finance operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and commentary
• Full responsibility for VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Managing, mentoring and developing a small finance team
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
• Working closely with the Finance Director to support business planning and decision-making
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies within the finance function
