We are working with a rapidly growing property development and investment group, the business is backed by substantial financial resources and a well‑established family office, providing a strong platform for continued growth.

As the business continues to scale, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Financial Controller who can take ownership of the finance function and develop into the group's Finance Director.

The Opportunity

This is a genuinely broad and hands‑on opportunity. You will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day finance function while also acting as a key point of contact for investors, lenders and other senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be expected to get involved, take ownership and become a key member of the senior management team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Taking overall responsibility for the finance function
  • Preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections
  • Leading cash flow forecasting across a growing portfolio of developments
  • Managing financial reporting across multiple SPVs
  • Overseeing group consolidation and reporting
  • Managing relationships with banks, lenders, investors and other external stakeholders
  • Understanding and managing debt facilities and lender requirements
  • Supporting funding proposals and development finance
  • Working closely with the development and senior management teams
  • Improving financial processes, controls and reporting as the group scales
  • Managing and developing a finance team
  • Supporting the long‑term strategy around holding assets and ultimately selling to pension and investment funds

This role would suit a highly motivated and ambitious qualified accountant from industry or practice who is looking to fast track into an Financial Director role.
