Unique opportunity for a graduate / graduate calibre assistant accountant to work directly for the Financial Director of a successful manufacturing group in Bradford. We are looking for a career minded and ambitious individual with a can do attitude who is prepared to get their sleeves rolled up and get involved with every part of the business. There is a clear career path to be mentored by their current Financial Director and to progress into this role. With full support from the Financial Director the Graduate Accountant will get involved in all areas of finance including; Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts Managing foreign currency purchases, forward contracts and foreign supplier payments Accruals/prepayments preparation and postings Cash flow management Ad hoc projects Streamlining systems, moving towards a paperless office Grant research and applications VAT returns Liaison with professional partners inc. banks, accountants, solicitors and insurers Full study support will be provided for ACCA /CIMA.
