Finance Manager

We’re working with a fast-growing and successful property development and lettings group based in Leeds to recruit an experienced Finance Manager. With a portfolio of high-quality rental units and an ambitious development pipeline, the business offers a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and long-term growth prospects.\\n\\nThis is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys managing people and driving improvements across finance operations. You’ll lead a finance team, take ownership of the monthly accounts across multiple entities, and help refine processes to keep pace with the business’s expansion all whilst acting as a right-hand person to the businesses group Financial Controller.

\\n\\nManaging and developing a team with 4 direct reports and a larger span of control\\nOverseeing accurate, timely management accounts across several group entities\\nUsing Xero to maintain clean financial data and reporting\\nReviewing and explaining variances to senior stakeholders\\nLeading balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany, accruals, and fixed assets\\nSupporting budgets, forecasts, VAT/CIS returns, and external audits\\nPartnering with operational teams to drive improvements and add commercial value\\nImproving reporting, controls, and processes to enhance efficiencyWhat we are looking for:\\n\\nQualified, Studier or qualified by experience (it doesn’t matter much if the experience is there!)\\nExperience managing or supervising a finance team\\nConfident using Xero and expeirence in a multi-entity environment\\nEngaging individual who wants to learn about the business and champion the finance department within the companyPackage\\n\\nUp to £50,000 + £5,000 annual bonus\\n 25 days holiday\\nPerks and extras\\n1 day work from home\\nAllocated Parking SpaceIPS Finance has 45 years’ experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
