Our client is a leading regional accountancy practice supporting owner-managed businesses, SMEs and entrepreneurial clients across a broad range of sectors. The firm offers a collaborative working environment, an established client base and genuine long term stability.
This is a non audit management role within the accounts and business services team. You will manage your own portfolio of clients whilst overseeing the delivery of accounts, compliance and advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of owner-managed business and SME clients.
- Review statutory accounts and management accounts.
- Oversee VAT returns, bookkeeping and outsourced finance services.
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports.
- Provide practical accounting and business advice to clients.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Review the work of junior and part-qualified staff.
- Support the training and development of the wider team.
- Monitor workflow, deadlines and work in progress.
- Assist directors with advisory assignments and portfolio management.
Candidate Profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Several years' experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong background in accounts preparation and client portfolio management.
- Previous experience reviewing and supervising staff.
- Confident advising owner-managed businesses.
- Good knowledge of cloud accounting software.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ideally based in Doncaster or within commuting distance.
Package & Working Pattern
- Salary £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
