An excellent opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant to join a growing multi-site business in a newly created role focused on financial planning, analysis and decision support. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in providing financial insight across the business, helping to shape strategic decisions through high quality analysis, forecasting and performance reporting. This is a visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence the direction of the finance function.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership and development of the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Preparation of monthly board and management reporting packs
  • Financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision making
  • Development of KPI reporting and performance dashboards
  • Analysis of business performance, trends and key drivers
  • Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders across the organisation
  • Supporting investment appraisals, business cases and growth initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial visibility
  • Providing insight and recommendations to support senior management decision making
  • Ad hoc analysis and project work as required

The successful candidate will be:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Able to demonstrate strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills
  • Comfortable presenting financial information to senior stakeholders
