An excellent opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant to join a growing multi-site business in a newly created role focused on financial planning, analysis and decision support. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in providing financial insight across the business, helping to shape strategic decisions through high quality analysis, forecasting and performance reporting. This is a visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence the direction of the finance function.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ownership and development of the budgeting and forecasting process
- Preparation of monthly board and management reporting packs
- Financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision making
- Development of KPI reporting and performance dashboards
- Analysis of business performance, trends and key drivers
- Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders across the organisation
- Supporting investment appraisals, business cases and growth initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial visibility
- Providing insight and recommendations to support senior management decision making
- Ad hoc analysis and project work as required
The successful candidate will be:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Able to demonstrate strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills
- Comfortable presenting financial information to senior stakeholders
