A construction group based near Bradford is seeking a Part Time AAT Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This role offers an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional—ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified—to take on a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily finance and governance activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain accurate records and uphold data integrity within financial systems
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial workflows
- Process weekly payroll
- Prepare monthly journals, including prepayments and accruals
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage CIS returns and quarterly VAT submissions
