We are seeking a detail-oriented and conscientious accounts manager for a role with a £5m turnover manufacturer in the Holbeck area of Leeds. Make sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview. Our client operates on Xero, and knowledge of using the software would be highly advantageous. The role will report into the business's directors and oversee one accounts assistant.
Main duties of the role include:
- Produce and analyse monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure financial records, reconciliations, and journal entries are accurate and complete.
- Provide information and recommendations to the management team to support commercial decisions.
- Manage debtors and creditors, get receivables in on time and payables in control.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns as required.
- Create annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor against budget and forecast, identify variances.
- Manage payroll, accuracy and timeliness of payments and deductions.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus, enhanced holiday and pension.
